Middle School Tennis Is In Full Swing

One of the top priorities of Sports in Schools is increasing opportunities for more students to participate in school sports. And this fall we did that! Four weeks ago, 80 middle school students from five difference Seattle Middle Schools took to five difference tennis courts to spend their after school time learning a new sport, making new friends and creating life-long memories. SIS was able to donate uniform shirts, tennis balls and ball hoppers, and, thanks to Top Spin, we were able to donate 20 rackets per team. These students from Asa Mercer, Washington, Aki Kurose, Denney and South Shore Middle Schools will compete in a jamboree on October 28 from 3:45pm-6:15pm at Amy Yee Tennis Center. Sports in Schools will be there cheering these students on! Come and join us!
